Check out the article posted recently in the Library Journal, “How the W3C has come to love library linked data,” for an overview of the relationship between libraries and the W3C, the organization that manages international standards for the World Wide Web. The article gives a preview of recommendations that will be made in a report to be released this month by the W3C’s Library Linked Data Incubator Group.
