September meeting: Metadata at IU Libraries

The first Metadata Discussion Group meeting of the new academic year will be on Tuesday, September 4 from 9:30—10:30 in the Wells Library, Room 043. Library staff, SLIS faculty and students, and those on campus interested in the topic are welcome to attend.

In an attempt to gauge the magnitude of metadata work being done on campus, we’ll be kicking off the new year with an info-sharing session, Metadata at IU Libraries. Come and share brief stories of your current projects or research, or just come and listen. We’ll be in a room with a computer/projector/internet access, if you’d like to show something.

Bring a beverage—donuts will be provided.
